The Department of Labour and Human Resource Studies (DOLAHRS) was established in August 2018 as one of the four departments that have been set-up in the School for Development Studies (SDS). DOLAHRS’ key focus is to conduct and coordinate research in the specialized area of labour and human resource with recourse to development studies and to transfer and disseminate the knowledge produced for nation building. The Department,through postgraduate studies and collaborative research, aims to effectively meet the demands of the complex 21st Century workforce. It continues to be a crucial academic hub for spearheading programmes in labour studies in the West African Sub-Region.
